The beginning and smudged glasses

So I guess now that Blogging isn't as much of a trend I feel like it is okay to have one. I am an avid journaler (I am making it a word) and many have suggested I blog, so here I go. I have no idea how much I will keep up with this but when I get a coffee and a scone I suddenly feel like writing.
I hope this blog doesn't became a rant but I must begin with one. Anyone who wear glasses will understand this one. When I was in grade school I actually lied to the school nurse about how well I could see because I wanted glasses so bad. Kind of goes along with begging my mom to let me shave my legs. All nonsense now. Since the age of 10 I have had glasses of many shapes and forms. I hate the fact that they always, ALWAYS have something on the lenses right in my sight. No matter if I just clean them, somehow a smudge appears. This is a big reason I wear contacts so much, I hate the ever present smudge.
I think it was Paul in 1 Corinthians who discussed how now we see dimly through a fog. I feel that especially today with my ever smudged glasses.
